That's my issue with "catboy" and "femboy" as a male identity; you can be gender non-conformist and cis-passing until a certain age, but if you don't wannya get in line post "twink death" tranphobes are going to demonize you, regardless of how you identify, (in some contexts). Even if I'm still able to feminize to a limited extend and only be in limited danger, any attempt at a mature "womanly" performativity will not be accepted within any type of male archetype. I might as well let go of those silly priviledges sooner than later and it's not like I truly feel at ease with any gendered performance anyway.

N.B.: Alchoholism is a problem, not a look.

I guess this tangent is just provoked by the meme and not about catboys or catmen. Catmen are valid. Science is just a bit behind.
